No, breaking the law is breaking the law. Caught or not.

Some people have labeled me because they don't know me. Sorta... like you. It is like you feel this is your board and when someone else makes a point it is your duty to decide if it valid or not. It does not work that way.

Unless I am badly mistaken both of those are already in place, just not enforced. By law the minimum speed allowed is 15 mph below the posted speed limit. And though by law the slower traffic is supposed to keep right (it is a state regulatory sign) those people who happen to drive 68 mph in a 65 zone do (in their minds own eye) see themselves as faster traffic because they are over the speed limit.

No, unfortunately the progressive state of NC has this as a law " or permit vehicles moving at the speed limit to drive in the left lane regardless of traffic conditions ("<SL")."

Speaking of this great State(Which I truly mean). I noticed the H.P. Now are using the new Dodge Charger. I grinned so large. You Chevy boys might as well pull over. Ford I am not worried about. That HEMI will get you.

They have quite a few (marked and unmarked) and from what I hear the troopers love them!

Oh, yeah...today one in Smithfield (in a Charger that was a beauteous shade of red) pulled someone over...shoot, I was so impressed with that car, I didn't reflexively check my speedometer when I saw the blue lights... that car would look so good on me!

Oh the stats on that car are what makes them love them. I read an article on the police edition of the Charger and the Magnum. They are tremendous improvements.

I was thinking that on 40 this morning.

70 mph all the way to florida would be nice.

It seems you were the one who said (paraphrased) it's only illegal if you get caught. With that level of ingnorance, I think Hught's question is valid.
