I believe our snow is coming. Checking the predictions for January and February we are supposed to get significant snow fall. I really hope so because my son a some friends are going to West Virginia to ski.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few inches of snow, and I've lived in NC most all my life.

My only request is that I have this baby first and don't have to drag her out in it.

I will tell you this......MM was born in 1995, and in Jan of 96, we had that huge ice storm, so there might be a pattern, lol.......

Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow!

Looking forward to it. Have to get one of those little sleds for the Little One before it hits. Just let it be after next week. Out of town the end of the week and don't want to miss it!

The snow isn't what's bad here, btw, it's when it ices...

Which just reminded me...I just called to get my gas tank filled. I don't want to be without power and gas heat in the fireplace...and I know my fireplace tank has to be low!

Ha! Ha! Ha! I remember the big snow in Jan of 96 very well. I got pg and in October there was a record number of babies born at Rex. People were coming in off the streets having babies while I was in labor on a gurney in the hallway. It was insane!

Bring on the SNOW:) Actually when i was in VA this past weekend, their news channel was saying the cold and snowy pattern out west and our warm and rainy weather in the East were going to switch places toward the end of January and February.

Not sure what you do for work that has you out there, but be careful.. I've heard the midwestern states are in awful conditions.

This is my permanent avatar. My hubby joked when I was preggo with #1 that this is what the baby would look like. LOL

I CAN NOT believe I found it for an avatar. I flipped out so it's here to stay! :)

The Eastern portion of the state is bad. The mountains have better equipment for dealing with the weather, and actually we didn't get the storm Denver did. We got some snow, great powder!

Out East it gets really bad and in places from Denver East they have well over 3 feet of snow on side roads. Made for a great white Christmas.

The midwestern state's did get hit hard.

Sending snow thoughts to those who want it.

Thanks, I did my stupid stuff this evening, took a road trip so that I could cross Wyoming off my list of states I have not been to yet. Knew I did something stupid when they had a sign that said "When snow is on road use chains" as I was driving down a narrow valley road in the snow. About the time I decided to use the brain I just crossed the border.

Expect 12 to 20" in the
mountains and 6" in town. Going right to the hotel room tomorrow night.

    Furry critters this year

Our horses' coats seem a bit heavier than usual this year, so I'm voting for a heavy snow some time this year. If not, they're going to feel really silly.
