I got weather Bug, and I check here and also WRAL and everyone says we are getting snow, but in differant amounts. I guess it's a wait and see. I got two people here looking out the windows every 5 minutes for snow lol. Sheri
MY 8 yo is checking every 5 minutes also, he's the "weather watcher" for his two little brothers...:hurray: poor kid, i kept telling him it wouldn't be until lunchtime, but he doesn't believe me. guess I (weather people) have cried wolf too many times for him to believe it anymore!
i've been at work since before 6 am. channel 11, the weather channel, nat wx svc, accu-weather, you name it: the maps and forecasts have changed literally every half hour or so....
So are we still getting some....I was thinking of taking my daughters to Greenville to visit with my parents. Do you think that is wise of me? or should I wait till tomorrow.
east of here has the best chance. you'd get down there and have to drive back in it. tomorrow will probably be worse since the high will only be a degree or two above freezing, and tonight's 22 will freeze everything from today that's liquid. tomorrow's roads will be worse than today's for sure...
No...I was gonna stay until Tuesday since my daughter has no pre-school. And its raining now so I don't like to drive in it as it is and I doubt it will lit up. Oh well.
I agree with Dangerboy...I was supposed to go 3 hours west of here to visit my dad today, but cancelled. Not so much because of today, but I'm worried what the roads will be like tomorrow when I come back.
Yea....I can always go on Monday and come back on Tuesday. Its my dad's b-day on Monday so I wanted the girls to see their grandpa.
i don't know...your best chance might be today. 34 tomorrow, 15 tomorrow night....monday morning will be a bear also, imho

Well I smoke outside, so everytime I go out there I look really hard for snow lol, but man I swear since 7 this morning it has gotten colder. And the pugs legs where just shaking when I took them outside. lol Sheri
Nothing here yet (over by DR wells), just rain. I am really hoping for some snow today, atleast a few inches, or none @ all please.
My poor son keeps saying it's not going to snow, he's gotten his hopes up too many times I think, doesn't want to be let down again. We just went and registered for soccer and the whole way there and back I was watching for some flakes, but nothing yet.
WRAL just posted online that Orange and Durham counties are starting to see snow, and they claim it's coming down hard. I know my son is going to disown me and never believe another thing I tell him if it doesn't snow today! :x
DS is looking a little forlorn too, but I am glad of any precipitation, be it rain or snow. It's really coming down right now.
