I tell you the last two mornings my knees have been giving me fits with pains ans aches, so I'm going to agree with you here.........Hate this cold weather.

Yes, they're saying little to no accumulation .. but sleet, which has the probability to freeze because it's been so cold. Since the front is supposed to be here late afternoon to evening, temps will soon drop once the sun goes down freezing the roads. I'd rather have snow.

It snowed and sleeted in Durham. Everything has stopped and we are being told the next front will come through around 3:00 pm. Sherry
Just drove from Walmart on 40/42 (don't judge, lol), back home near JoCo airport. Roads are wet, people driving like fools going 80mph+ on hwy 70 bypass. Primary roads seem fine right now, secondary roads slick, passed quite a few icy spots on Rock Pillar Road. Looks like the news is calling for more ice accumulation than previously predicted. Hope the power stays on Stay warm and safe everyone!
Clayton police dept just posted this on Facebook Shotwell Road is closed at Amelia Church Road (right near the Clayton Community Center) after a car flipped in an accident. PLEASE use caution!
