At the Wilco station by Lowe's, there's a doughnut that's called "Manager's Special", it's a cake doughnut, glazed and covered with broken heath bars. For the love of fat girls, that thing is the bomb!
Whatever is on sale..... Big black seedless ones last week at Kroger, red seedless this week at FL. Green ones (white) are good too. Takes longer than you'de think to freeze, but the consistency is almost that of an Italian ice, not rock hard like you might think. I have to put a couple of pounds in there at a time, 'cause once I get started....
Well I'm just going to have to try that! I'm a grape lover as are my kids too. Baby koo calls them baby apples sometimes.
my kids love them too. I throw a boatload in the cooler when heading to the beach...they are great munchies.
The regular store bought grapes are okay, but I grew up on eating those black, ole timey (dark purple) muscadine grapes. Of course, they have a few seeds in the pulp, but nothing compares to the taste IMHO. For a watery treat, however the seedless grape variety are okay.
hmmm, frozen grapes, never tried that, do you eat them right out of the freezer or would they be ok to freeze and take to the beach in a cooler?
They would tend to melt a little, which a little is OK. Keep ice on them and they should be good. I put about 2 1/2 lbs in the freezer last night.....they'll probably be gone by Friday.
