    If your kids are in school, remember they'll count those days toward their absences...:?
     
  2. Well, one kid is in preschool. I'm not too worried about her. The other is in 2nd grade. I think they'll be okay. Thanks! I've never worried too much about absences. As long as it's not a habit (which it won't be because I'll be in school too!)

    but they only get a certain # each 9 wks......JC is pretty strict unless you can get it excused as an educational trip, which at that age you probably could. :lol:
     

  6. I'll check on it... We'd probably do a Wednesday - Sunday so at the most they'd miss 3 days.
     
  7. We probably won't even go. We might wait one more year. It depends on the financial situation. What happens if a kid misses more than a certain number of absences anyway? Do they fail? I was just curious.

    Yes, according to the policy. Students are allowed 4 per 9 wk period, even if they're excused (note from home/parent) they count unless you have a dr's note, then it can be waived and not counted against them. Students get 2 days for every day missed to make up work.
