Tell me about Carolina Pottery

:iagree: you have to plunder at ross but they has good stuffz! i love big lots! there is one in cary and one on western blvd both have lots of good home stuff.

the pottery aint what it used to be! back in the day it was awesome and filled with great house stuff.

 

Update: Yeah, Carolina Pottery wasn't what a lot of people had made it out to be. All I bought was a little flag for under our mailbox. They had some nice items that I liked, but they were priced way too high. There is definitely tourist pricing going on.

I also checked out JR's. I got a table cloth and some awesome king sized pillow cases for a great price. I was a little surprised that you can smoke and bring pets into the store. For that reason I probably won't go back.

Ross and TJ Maxx are definitely hit or miss. I stopped there this weekend and didn't find anything I was looking for, but I'll keep looking since I know their inventory turns over pretty frequently.
