I just put this in the oven http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/spiced-pumpkin-cheesecake-62444.aspx 38 NABISCO Ginger Snaps, finely crushed (about 1-1/2 cups) 1/4 cup finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted 4 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened 1 cup sugar 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice 1 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs Make It HEAT oven to 325°F MIX crumbs, nuts and butter; press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan. BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add pumpkin, spice and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour into crust. BAKE 1 hour 20 min. to 1 hour 30 min. or until center is almost set. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours. On a side note, anybody ever throw away part of a kitchen gadget not remembering what it was? The food processor would have come in handy for the crust, but my adapter is gone.... Hubby ordered me an early Christmas present, so I can use it to make Eggnog Pie in a few weeks... for him.
Dang Cleo, I'm coming to your house! That sounds YUMMY!! I may have to save that one to my recipes file to try later in the season!
I'll let you know if it's good. When we get closer to Christmas I will share the Eggnog Pie recipe, it's divine.
Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake Crust: 1 sleeve of graham crackers, finely crushed handful of chopped pecans 1/4 c melted butter or margarine combine and press onto bottom of a 9" spring form pan Filling: 2 8oz pkgs of cream cheese (I use one regular and one 1/3 fat) 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp Vanilla (this year's cheesecake has vanilla from Mexico) 3 eggs 1 cup canned pumpkin 3/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg Combine cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla, mixing at med speed with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Reserve 1 cup cheese mixture and add pumpkin, remaining sugar, and spices to remaining cheese mixture. Mix well. Layer 1/2 pumpkin mixture and 1/2 cheese mixture over crust, repeat layers. Cut through batter with a knife several times for marble effect. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. Cool before removing rim of pan and chill in fridge.
Woo hoo!!! Awesome!! You are welcome! I made Kellbell's sweet potato casserole. Can I just say it is the best I've ever had and my husband is STILL talking about it (well, that and my turkey, it was out of this world, even if I did make it)??!!! Thanks again Kelly!!
Good for you :hurray: I made that Greenbean Casserole for the first time (the recipe that I posted),my first Greebean Casserole ever and it also came out nice,it's going on the "to make again" list along with the brined turkey breast and your ham of course
Vegetable Casserole: 2 packages of frozen mixed vegetables 1 cup of mayo 1 cup of cut celery 1 cup of chopped onion 1 cup of butter 1 cup of sharp cheese townhouse crackers for the top Thaw the mixed vegies under warm water and put in a large casserole dish. Mix all ingredients into that dish with the vegetables. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Crush up the townhouse crackers and put all over the top of the mixture. Stick the casserole in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until the townhouse crackers start getting crispy and browner. Take the casserole out and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. I love that casserole! Sherry

I changed the cheese to Romano, because I had that, but other than that stuck to the recipe. I can' wait to try it unchanged.
