it has been empty and off since 5:00 yesterday. dh took went to some store in raleigh where they ordered at $75 part that will be here tomorrow. he told these fellas what was going on and they said they think it is the thermostate or defrost timer.
Hopefully you won't have to be chasing down the cause of the problem by buying parts,changing them out and getting nowhere. That is very frustrating(and expensive). Good luck, I hope it's just the part you ordered.
