ok so to all the "yankees" ( and note that in my original thread i NEVER said yankee ) the only reason that we southerners do "group" yall is bc majority of yall complain. I am not saying that there arent any yankees out there that i dont like im just saying that if you DONT LIKE IT THEN EITHER SHUTUP OR LEAVE! dont complain and complain and complain everyday, just hush! and thats for anyone who moves any where,yankee,redneck,western,white,black,asian,etc etc etc etc!
First thought, Go home!!!!!! Seriously I don't care where the people come from. Stop listening and flooding this state. All the new people are making it hard to live in NC. Not a knock on anybody or where they come from, but I do not like the traffic or the taxes associated with the uncontrolled growth. It's not my fault that hundreds of years ago my ancestors were smart enough to settle in the best area. It's like a honeyhole in fishing, way too many people know about it and the fish are no longer biting.

I personaly don't like some of the yankees Ive met but I also don't like some of the people who were born and raised around here .Theres good and bad every where. what would be nice is if we could just get a bunch of greyhound busses lined up and send the butt heads from either north or south or west and send them all somewhere.The thing is people who arent from here arent getting is alot of us who are from here ,hear all these negative things about a place we grew up our families from way back when grew up, it pee us off ,thats normal.Just like the term "Good ole boys "and "old money "you need to realise your speaking of some of our familys and thats enough to pee anyone off.sorry for spelling coffees not kicked in yet.Point being people from the south are no different from the north most of us just have better manners lol that was a joke kinda.
Yankee is a derogatory term when used by southeners to describe someone from the north. it's like used like the n-word for black people and like other derogotroy words for other races. I hate and I am sick of hearing it. I am going to get a dern lawyer and get a class action suit that it is a bias hate word.
