Ummmm, glad it's you and not me! Seriously, though, glad things are going well for you, congrats!
Aww kdc, you know you want another one. Your's is getting older, more independant. You know you want to join our pregnancy club!
Not just no, but H E double hockey sticks NO! LOL! I got so tickeled at my son yesterday, he cleaned the living room all by himself, WITHOUT being asked, as good as I could have done. I could have dropped over with shock, but how awesome is it when they get to this age??? More power to those expecting and with the new babies, but I am done, I know my limits, LOL!
Here I is! You'll be feelin' some kicks here shortly Jen, I know I started feeling rumbles and stuff around 14 weeks. And hubby felt at about 16.5 weeks. Amazed the heck outta me... last time he was the last to feel anything. He's the first this go-round.
Wow Koo! That is awesome! I do remember those first flutters, took me a while to figure out what it was! That part I do miss........
I'm really looking forward to that. I think with Mini Me, it was right around 4 months and I felt something because I was laying on the floor on my tummy, lol.
This time it floored me how fast I started seeing it move on the outside. I was actually in a biz meeting and had on slinky/flowing top. I laid back to stretch my legs and my stomach just started jumping and it caught me off guard. I jumped like I didn't know what was moving in my belly. The lady that works with me looked at me and just laughed when I jumped. I think she was the only one who noticed. Or either the men in the meeting (we were the only women) thought 'ha the fat girl has gas bubbles poppin'... I am just now looking preggo to other peps. Most people who don't see me often are scared to ask if I am pregnant... they say I just look like I have gain a good bit of weight. I dont' like the first stages before you look preggo... you feel fat and look fat.  I am almost outta those now so YEAH ME!
Yeah, I know the whole look fat, feel fat routine. People are starting to say to me now, "Wow, you're starting to show". The sucky thing is, I look like I'm 6 mos, not 3 mos. and I haven't gained ANY weight yet. It's just my belly expanding, lol. I'm in the last of my "fat" clothes now. After they're gone, I'm screwed because "Adventures in finding maternity clothes" has not been something I want to repeat.
awwww, dont be so hard on yourself. I think most women shine and are beautiful when they are pregnant!
well that was quite sweet from a newbie! PS. Love your handle!  JEN: Do what I'm gonna do when it gets too cold for capris, shorts and my beloved overalls... buy lane bryant! They have big girl stretchy waists. And they have them in TALL!!!!!
BD-Not being hard on myself, lol. Just stating the truth! And Koo, girl my Lane Bryant card is almost maxed as it is. Where do you think I've been shopping? LOL
How's it tickin' ladies? I think I've felt some movement. It could have been gas, who's to say? But I am definitley starting to look preggo! Oh, and thanks to a certain new mom (wink wink) who lent me her fetal monitor. We're pretty sure we got a heartbeat with it the other night!
Baby Kookoo checking in! Tickin' right along... You should be feeling some kicks about now. It's my favorite part of being preggo. And once Mini Me (you) feels it oh man she is going to just hit the roof. Beezor... how's it going? You're the closest to the finish line...
I'm doing good!! Thanks for asking! Getting ready though. I had my first baby shower Sunday, it was so much fun! I still feel pretty good. I have been diagnosed w/ Gestational Diabetes, but so far haven't had much trouble controlling it with my diet, so that's good. I'm not trying to have to take insulin shots! Hope you all are feeling well!
Oh man I hate to hear about the GD. It's good that you can keep it under wraps with the diet though. Good luck with that!! I go for my O'sullivan in Aug... ugh I don't like that stuff! blaach! I'm taking my M-in-Law to help kill some time during the hour wait. I just noticed we are all set on multiples of 8 - 16 weeks, 24 weeks, 32 weeks. Ok ok useless information.
Ok ladies, a little fun time game. I know I have not found out what the gender of my baby is but I played this little game and I came out with a high % towards one side. Beezor do you know what you got cookin? http://www.childbirth.org/articles/boyorgirl.html Jen you might have to wait a month or 2 to see if you can answer more of them... like the way you are carrying... to be able to tell for sure.
You have a 42% chance of having a boy. And you have a 57% chance of having a girl. ...That's what I got (answering post birth), but I didn't answer the heart rate or the needle and thread questions (never tried the needle and thread). Both of my girls are boys.
And you have a 52% chance of having a girl. And.....it is a girl! Confirmed by regular and 3-D ultrasound......So maybe it's right. I think the Chinese birth chart said it was a boy though, so who knows. That's a cute survey!
i got the same results and i did do the thread and needle on my last one and he was a boy too - i had all three boys and each pregnancy was different in just about every way
I got 85% chance it's a girl! And I didn't answer some of the questions. Last time I was preggo it was an 75 or 80% it was a boy. And yeah... the chinese birth chart says it's a Girl for this one BUT it also said I should have had a girl last time too! :? But I seem to remember seeing 2 different charts. One was right and one was wrong. Who knows! Still fun to guess!
