Kookoo update! Spoke with Koo this morning, she is resting comfortably on her couch, but has no internet access with her laptop out in the boonies. She says to tell you all thanks for the thoughts and prayers and that she is having withdrawls. I was mistaken, she is almost 36 weeks, but predicts she will deliver before the weekend. She is convinced that she has a huge baby ready to see the world. She says she'll have her DH call me if she goes into labor, but I doubt he'll be thinking about calling me, so I will continue to call her for updates and keep you all abreast of what I find out.
I was looking for her number, but misplaced it (deleted it, no doubt). PLEASE tell her Cleo says "Hey - Good Luck!!" next time you talk to her!!!
Kookoo is still hanging in there! The doctors won't help her by inducing labor or breaking her water till at least this Friday, even though she's been having contractions for over a week and is already at 3.5. So she's just hanging in.... She says to tell everyone "hey!" and to let you all know that if this baby doesn't come by Friday, she's evicting it herself, lol!
AAACCKKKK!! My ticker restarted itself! Imagine my surprise when I accidentally clicked on the first page and saw that I was expecting again. :lol:
KooKoo Update! She's still pregnant, and still having real contractions. She goes to the Doc on Friday and I predict we'll have a baby kookoo on Saturday!
Went to the Dr. today and everything is moving along. I've decided I don't like this one doc, and I hope he's not the one who delivers me. He just doesn't seem very personable and I feel rushed to ask my questions when I see him. I'm up to a total weight gain of 11 pounds, which I guess isn't bad for 28 weeks, is it? Of course the doc I saw today is the same one who told me not to gain anymore than 8 pounds for the whole dang pregnancy. Yeah right... LOL
Just a small point of fastidiousness... I think you have already been delivered. I think you meant to say you hope he's not the one to deliver your baby. And now back to our regularly scheduled parturitions, already in progress.
Good to hear everything's moving right along. I remember there being a doc in that practice I hoped wouldn't deliver for me either. Same thing, rushed and all. I'll cross my fingers for ya! Frogger
I feel for you Jen! There was one in the practice I went to that I swore I would cross my legs to keep her from being at the delivery! Some Docs you just don't click with.
