Ok, got just a few minutes, figured I'd post an update. So first of all, I've gained 8 pounds in two weeks. 8 freaking pounds. My blood pressure is 130/90 My doctor told me that I can't go Christmas shopping, and that I really shouldn't go to work (but we compromised on this one) They want to see me again Monday Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but if my blood pressure doesn't stay under control, this may be a 2006 baby anyway. Oh yeah, and he told me that I need to prepare myself for the very real chance that I will have another C section due to the size of this baby. And we can't have nookie anymore.....
How big are they guessing baby is now? Is there a cut-off weight that will determine whether a VBAC is OK or not? I'm just wondering because I was sorta hoping to have a VBAC myself - but my 1st child was a bit on the large size. I'm sure all will be fine. Sounds like a real good reason for the family to baby you until baby arrives. No Christmas shopping - I need a good excuse to get out of that one It would probably save me a few bucks and I'm sure family would be completely understanding. I hope you have a great weekend with your feet propped up while watching movies & being catered to by family

Melynda, No, they haven't given me a "cut off" weight, but at this point, they seem concerned about my blood pressure. I'm really hoping it was just a fluke, you know, maybe that Bojangles sweet tea and biscuit I had this morning. I'm compromising and working half a day today and half a day tomorrow, and "relaxing" (if you can call it that) the rest of the day. This is SO not what I expected to hear this morning, lol....
