There you are! Glad you checked in, best wishes coming your way! :D

I went overdue with mine, I feel for you, at least the weather has cooled off a little! His 7th birthday is Sun. Seems like yesterday he was a newborn!

Yes, the weather could not be more accommodating!! Now two years ago, when we completely skipped Spring... (wait, that's about EVERY year). UGH!!

Cleo, if you go overdue, we'll make you a ticker!

And yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Mini me's heartbeat always ran 170-175. I've always heard faster heartbeats for girls, and slower for boys. So who knows?

Yeah, I'm sure I'll have more ultrasounds. This one was for the Right from the Start study I'm doing.

DH really wants to find out what the baby is, and I don't really wanna know. I'll probably give in though. It is his first (and prolly last) kid.

    Are you still working Cleo?

You got that right but thank goodness he was born in May so the heat of the summer hadn't come yet. i swear from the time he came out the most used comment from me to him is still "hurry up"

OMG Kaci! You poor thing! I only went a week and a half, that was plenty! They'd put me off work 3 weeks before my due date saying I was going to have him any minute, but never went into labor, had to be induced in the end once I started swelling like a water balloon. LOL. My husband just ran across some photos of me back then, nothing like hearing your husband burst into hysterical laughter at 6:45 AM, talking about how big your were!

Huh, I thought the faster heartbeat meant it was a boy... but it could be all those Tootsie Rolls you've been eating! I'll ask my doc on Friday.

    Yep, still at work.

Cleo, I was lucky...they induced with both of mine...because I had no signs of labor...

1st child I was 2-3 weeks early and she was 8 lbs. 6 oz.

2nd child I was induced on my due date...she was 10 lbs. 4 oz..went home in a size 3 month dress...

    Yes I birthed these babies...

Also....ladies I asked my Dr. to put me out on maternity leave a month before I had my girls...I was so swollen...that way you'll get a little rest before the baby comes. Disability pay covers that so you'll get paid....

It varies by company. Here, it would take away from my Maternity Leave (which is 40 days of Short term Disability). I *do* have some sick days to use up though - otherwise they get sucked up before disability kicks in!

No, I don't think she was. But I haven't talked to her in a long while.

That's what happened to me, I got put on maternity leave 3 weeks before my due date and I had planned to work until I went into labor, LOL, it ate into my 12 weeks, so I only got to spend 9 weeks at home with the little fella.

Ok, quit whining girls, when i had mine it was only 6 weeks paid for maternity leave. On my last one i had some problems so i actually got off 4 weeks before he came but i had to use my supplemental insurance to collect payment for those weeks. J/K, i really think ya'll are lucky :D
