Hey Steelers can kiss my butt... screw them:jester::lol: Huge fan of Direct do it and the ticket is great, good football all the time.
We watch some things on Comedey Central, but not any MTV channels. I'd like to pay for ONLY the channels we watch! :boxing:
OH s***!!! now I too will now get bent outta shape....VH1 is part of this nonsense that may go away.....I can't live without VH1. :banghead: I just logged on VH1 to get my morning trash tv update...and a big ALERT came across telling me it might go away.....:evil::evil:

Then that would not be al a carte pricing if you have packages with specific features. Al a carte would be you would pay for the features you want, like a menu with listed prices for each. Why should I have to pay more for my basic cable package when it carries crap like home shopping network and the inspiration channel?
Right, just like on a menu you have a choice of ordering a meal or ordering a la carte. The a la carte pricing may be higher in both cases, for the same items. I had a choice of a package for a set price, or only the items I wanted for a certain price for each item. If I chose the items I wanted, the individual prices totaled up to more than the package price which included all the items I wanted plus some I didn't want.
I have been trying to as well. Our son will not survive without Noggin. We'll be done with them for sure.
Same here! Dh is home now recording the rest of today's programming on the DVR. Looks like it might be time to hook my service with Dish back up.
Must have Comedy Central fix at least once a week, but since we use Direct it isn't an issue. :jester:
I usually fall asleep before my programs come on anyway, so I catch most of it online the next day. If I think of it.
The real reason that these two companies are fighting! The cable companies don't want to pay when you can access it online the next day. They would like to block or shape network traffic to prohibit video. Too bad the idiots in Washington keep regulating the US out of the future in regards to communication mechanisms!
I just want to know why I'm watching commercials... I pay for the programming, then I have to watch the same commercials as the people who get the stations with rabbit ears.
