I go by there twice a day, and there is a stop sign there. It's not really that crazy to expect someone to follow the rules of the road. You are making a left hand turn, so hopefully you're not going so fast that you can't glance that way as you come up to it, heck, even as you start to turn. But really, stopping there is ridiculous.
i'm not the only one that stops there but you drive your way and i'll drive mine. better safe than sorry.
