I have a relatively new (about a year old) 32 gig usb drive with a lot of data on it. Now it seams not to be seen by two different PC's. Is there anyway to retrieve the data on it?

windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (code 43).

is there anyway to get the data off of it?

    Thanks

It does not prompt to format or anything. The LED doesn't even light up.
Please if anyone can help me at least get the data off I would be very grateful.

Rocky, I showed this to my wife who is an IT professional and based on your posts she thinks that the data can probably be saved but you will have to send it off to be fixed. The following site will do it for $60

well before you spend that money. Make sure your USB ports are not broken or drivers crashed. Chances are just one of the miniport drivers are corrupt. But if not you will have to get the data recovered. But if it were me?? I would take it to a friends machine and plug it in to see if it works on theirs first
