We live in Shadow Lakes, and we have a great haunted house set up and plenty of good candy to give away, but if you want any part of it, you better come on Sunday...All lights will be off on Saturday....sorry, Halloween is on Halloween. It is not a religious thing, it is a night for kids of all ages to dress up and have a little fun....and eat lots of candy:lol:

GC, don't misunderstand the so-called schedules....they are merely 'suggestions' for those choosing Saturday, they are not mandated by any law nor is law enforcement telling people they have to on a specific night. Halloween is on Sunday and that's when (according to the 14 threads on here regarding this subject) most folks are trick-or-treating.

Ore. couple give condoms to teen trick-or-treaters

SILVERTON, Ore. — Having a safe Halloween took on a different meaning in one Oregon neighborhood, where trick-or-treating teenagers received condoms in their goodie bags. Daniel and Kathleen Harris, of Silverton, told The Statesman Journal the free condoms were part of their effort to promote health. They also handed out toothbrushes as well as candy bars.
The father of one 14-year-old girl who received the condoms, Daniel Cote, was offended and says it was inappropriate to give them to children without parents' consent.
Kathleen Harris said giving the condoms to the 14-year-old was a mistake. She said their usual practice is to ask teens if they're 16 or older and to give them a speech on safe sex.
