What happened to Seabee???

I'm just surprised in that case that SB would get a ban over a word violation and not Wulf over the thread. :?

 

You seem to have not read the posts. It seems Seabee got caught in the reporting of the thread Wulfie started. so Seabee was probably not reported as much as he was caught in the crossfire. I expect Wulfie has been reported on this and if he continues in the present vein he will be reported in the future until he is either banned or crosses the line too far.

I didn't report Seebee. PM webbie and ask him. All this 'assuming' is status quo for some of the character traits in here. I won't discuss the next step on Wulf.

I'm not afraid to post a copy of my PM to the webmaster. I have nothing to hide.

If you're looking for someone to hang for Seebees problem you’re going to have to find another neck for your lynching posse. Now .... maybe you can tell the posse to go home and relax while the ringleaders find another neck to falsely blame.

 

That is my guess too.

 

It's all good Dan. It looks to me like Seabee got screwed when Wulf should have been the one with the temp ban.

 

It also depends on what Seabee's post said too. He can get a little wound up defending Wulfie, which could have been the problem causing his ban.

Oh geez. I only saw the original thread up to a point, but from what Seabee tells me he didn't do anything he hasn't done many times before. Sounds like bad timing on his part. Not him "getting a little wound up" defending Wulf.

 

I'm pretty sure it was something as simple as replacing letters with symbols in banned words, to get around the filter. Webbie is known to take that seriously when it comes to his attention. I tried to warn Seabee in a PM when he first started posting here, but there was no one getting banned for it at the time so I guess he thought it would be OK.

 

And webbie can run things the way he wants, but replacing symbols in banned words doesn't seem like as serious an offense as another poster reporting a thread where they feel defamed. I am always left scratching my head at bannings around here. :?

I think it has been brought up before, intentionally going around the censor is like a slap in webbie's face. Of course I like to toe the line from time to time.

But seriously, why is Enlightened person allowed and *** is not?

 

His only comment that broke the rule was humorous, and he said something to the effect of, "Oh ...... we have a Billy Bad xxx here." He did use the $ to get by the rule.
