Brown about 1 lb. of ground beef, drain.

Add your favorite spagetti sauce to meat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.

Layer the lasagna in the crock pot as follows:

spread a thin layer of the meat on the bottom

then put a double stack of uncooked lasagna noodles
    another layer of the sauce
    a layer of ricotta cheese
    a layer of mozarella cheese
    another double layer of noodles
    another layer of sauce
    another layer of ricotta cheese
    another layer of mozarella cheese
repeat until you are out of the sauce and then top with a final layer of cheese.

Cook on LOW for about 4.5 hours. Check after 4 hrs.

    Yummmmmmyyyy!

We always cook ours on the grill with a dry rub. The next day I throw the leftovers in the crockpot with a little water on the bottom. It has the grill flavor and it falls off the bone.

Alright here is what you do......

    1. Turn off your crock pot and put it in storage.

    2. Take out the butt and throw it in the trash.

    3. Get in your car.

    4. Get on Hwy 70 East and head towards Goldsboro.

    5. Upon reaching the Goldsboro City Limits, look for this...it will be on your right.

    7. Thank me

I've got to get some out of my freezer. Got a pork butt, two turkey breast and heaven knows what else in there.

I stopped at a place called the "Town Market" in Pine Level on Sunday and they had some awesome prices on pork. I got an entire pork loin, sliced for $1.49 a pound, some ribs, a great pork roast and some tenderloin. We've had the tenderloin and the roast so far, they were both good. Little dinky place, but the meat looked really good. I will probably make a trip back there, much easier than going to Nahunta.

    Catchy title!

I'm also with the crock pot.

I cook mine til it's falling apart. (I leave the fat on)

Take it out and shred it in a cake pan with whatever sauce you like. (I like a red sweet) Then broil it for just a few so the sauce sticks to the pork. makes great sandwiches.

I'd never heard of it. We were coming back from Goldsboro and saw their sign and decided what the heck, so we stopped.

Oh come on ..... I don't like much of anything frozen or canned, etc. But that Stouffers Lasagna rocks. It has to be better than mus-My Friend rubbed, pepper coated, crock potted pork butt.

Nah, then you've never had "good" lasagna. No offense, but Stouffers is crap. As for the pork butt, I don't do mine in the crock pot, but the mus-My Friend rub is just to hold the spices on no matter what you put on there. LOTS of big time BBQ'ers do that. Check out www.biggreenegg.com if you want to talk about BBQ. Go to the forums and prepare to have your mouth water. Some of the ladies on here can attest to the wings that we have served off of ours. :p
