Is that the property owned by Charlie Robbins at one time? I worked in construction for Charlie in the summer of 1955 over at Cooper High School, now Cooper Elementary. I bet that predates you old timers! LOL

I lived on Stallings street in the late 80s. early 90s. I was really young at the time but I remember walking to the red and white to buy candy. My favorites were the orange slices. Wow I can't believe that was 20 years ago.

LOL......just by a little bit as I moved to Clayton in the early 80's and when I went to Cooper it was Cooper Middle School, and the Elementary was where the Clayton Center is now and housed 4-5 grades.

gcoats3 - I remember Charlie and Gladys quite well! Also the little yipping chihuahuas they had. I used to stay with the Pulley family across the street while my parents worked. So I'm real familiar with that part of Clayton. I lived down on Stallings beside the old Horne homeplace and then moved up to Robertson Street - the very end by the Horne cemetery.
