Hey girl, i am 47yo and i have 5 grandkids but their parents are 29 and 30 so i guess not quite as bad, huh :lol:

I made my Mom a first time grandma at the age of 43 (her, not me. I was almost 21... not 13 or 16!) so it isn't the grandmother's age that is shocking. I'm 39 and have an 18 year old, so I could easily become a grandma in my early 40s (let's hope not though).

With the 44 year old "girl" :wink: Craig is talking about, I wonder if one of her daughters had the two kids or if both of her daughters has one kid. Either way... good grief!

 

My Grandmother was only 38 when I was born, my Mom was 18 at the time. That didn't seem so unusual to me, except that I now realize I will be 38 NEXT YEAR! Holy cow! No chance I will be an early grandparent though, my only child is only 7, LOL!
