Big Lots has a coupon on their website for 20% off your entire purchase on February 22. I think some stores may have limited hours for using the coupon, as it is their friends and family event, but usually the'll honor them all day. You can call and ask.

As far as Ikea goes, they are great for certain items. We got one of our guest beds there and love it. The quality is what you would expect - particle board and glue, which is fine unless you move four times in one year like we did. I would NOT recommend them for couches/sofas. I have found them to be very poor quality and expensive. You can easily find nicer and better quality for the same price or cheaper at JC Penney or even Rooms to Go.

Ikea is also FANTASTIC for kitchen remodels. Their cabinets and countertops are so inexpensive and look really, really nice. You just have to find someone to do the install. I know so many people that have used them to do a full kitchen remodel and saved thousands for gorgeous kitchens.
