Who to call for Microwave repair?

If you P.M Me I will help you in repairing the door. I will need the model # and serial # and with that I can look into finding you either a handle or a new door . I know how to replace the door as well as take the door apart to replace the handle.

As for the O.P. -If she can also let me know what the problem is with her microwave, I will honestly let her know if it is worth repairing or not. If it is not heating, then the magnetron is shot and it is probably not worth putting any $ into it.

 

Dang, i was so proud of myself, i wrote down the info last night to pm you with today and i didn't get the serial #, just model # and manufacture date:banghead:

 

sometime, it is as simple as replace the fuse (<$5 from home depot). You might want to check that first, unscrew a couple of screws, open the cover, then check the fuse..
