I don't know, we'll see...it really depends on if my children are embarassing me or not at the festival! I'm really hoping there are things there that keep them entertained!

...lol...:lol::lol::lol: I like that and a great reason not to put on the sticker!! I must keep that in mind!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

As far as entertaining kids go however...I don't know how old yours are but last year they had alot of the inflatable things that kids can slide down, bounce around in...that sort of stuff. Also they have an entertainment stage in which last year a number of bands played....stuff like that, of course looking at all the booths is fun too....

Mine are 2, 4 & 8. It seems like we drove by it last year and it looked fun. I think it was just ending though, I think that's why we didn't go.

I would guess your 2 and 4 year old would love the inflatable things, not sure about the 8 year old as I am not quite familiar with that age yet (mine are only 2 & 3) I do remember though that they had 2 inflatable sections, one for older kids with bigger things and 1 for the younger kids. Keep in mind they do cost tickets (I don't remember how much though :?) It's fun, for weeks afterword my now 3 year old wanted to go to the "Stawberrry Festibal every Saturday....some booths also give out strawberry samples so that was a great part for him cause he is a Strawberry monster!!!)

Oh yeah, they have lots to do for the 8yo too. My grandkids are 9 and 10 and they cannot wait to go again this year - they love the inflatable things and especially the bungi thing.

How big is it? Are there like thousands of people? I'll be there around lunchtime, what kind of food vendors are there? And it seems I saw people complaining about how much tickets are, I guess you buy a bunch of tickets and use them at each place?

Hi Stephanie - Although you have probably already gone to the festival, the kids activities vary in price from $1 - $7. There are no real rides, mostly jumpy things. The $1 tickets are for the inflatable slides and some kiddie stuff. The $7 ride was the bungie trampoline that allows the kids to jump really high while attached to a harness. My kids had 7 tickets each to spend on the activities they wanted. They each choose the bungie thing and really liked it.

Webmaster Dave - good to see you - can't wait to win the drawing! LOL

Hat6 and C6 - Great to meet you. We look forward to reading your book tonight, C6! It's nice to have a signed copy.

Sorry I missed ya HG, Kaci and KDC.

Thanks to all the vendors and businesses who had booths this year. The kids love all the little goodies and it was nice to see lots of familiar faces. There seemed to be less businesses displaying this year, but we enjoyed our stroll and discovered some new businesses in the area we didn't even know about.

I just don't want to fight the traffic. I saw yesterday where they were going to park people as far down Old Drug Store Road as Adam's Point! I ain't one that likes crowds or traffic so I guess I'll stay here and do housework.

Frugal - I hate to burst your bubble but we're going to win the wii!!

We just got back, and it was fun but hot! I met webbie and Hat6, but that's it. I did not wear a tag only because I didn't see one other person wearing one. (and my kids were pretty good, so I really would have if someone else was!)

But webbie and Hat, it was great to meet you both! I would say the rides are very expensive and don't think they're worth it really, not 3-7 tickets! I could see 1 or 2, but that's it. But now I know for next time.
