I moved here in June that year, when I heard a hurricane was coming, I figured...eh...no big deal..a little wind, a little rain...what the heck is the big deal.

Yup...I learned my lesson quick :lol: At the time I was living in an appt with a roommate in N. Raleigh, we ended up sleeping in a hallway that night after hearing all the howling and banging going on outside. I guess we were lucky, we were only out of power for about 13 hours as we were on the same line as Wake Med. Needless to say...lots of Hurricane Fran parties at our pad!!
