If Clif has come back then that is total crap and should not be allowed, however, comments like the ones you all are making about him should not be allowed either. He may have been a total jerk, but seriously? Talking about him "**************" "***************" Are you kidding me? Nobody deserves to be talked about like that. Period. I agree, dont say 'you all'....and seriously, do you have any idea what all has gone on with clif over the years? and its not just about Clif, its about being consistently fair with all members....yes, the context of the thread went south, but there is a lot of history not only with Clif. And yes, Clif has come back.
Point being its a double standard and its not right. If your going to ban then do it and when you know they have another name get rid of them. If not then its really pointless and does not need to be done. And if you are going to do it then give a reason for it and a good one.. I agree the post got out of hand but thats another subject...
I totally agree. If someone gets banned they should not be able to come back. There should be a way to prevent it somehow like blocking someone's computer address or something if they try to log in as someone else. And if someone shows new and it's obviously that person then they need to get the boot pronto. I'm not arguing that Clif should not be banned for eternity because he should and that when you're banned you're banned and that means no coming back, but the whole explicit gay love thing was a little much.
My intent of starting this thread was to find out why Ken is gone and Clif is still here. The rest is just what it is. But I doubt clif will come out and say HEY! Or would he...
Rules are rules... I like to stand by three words when dealing with situations like this..FIRM, FAIR, CONSISTENT. I don't see that happening here though.
I would agree if it were anybody but clif. He has made way worse comments about some of us and has not got banned for it. Calling people two bit whores . It wasn't even deleted as far as I know still hasn't been deleted. I understand you have not been here to see some of his past things so I see no reason to flame you or anyone else to flame you because you are pretty much in the dark about what type of a poster he has been. As far as what he deserves I am way to nice to say what he deserves.
I don't either. And frankly, like I agreed with someone earlier, I think it's a slap in webbies face for Clif or Clif001 (whatever he wants to be called) comes back on here as if nothing ever happened. Clif is a ticking bomb that has already exploded one time. It's just a matter of time before he loses his marbles again. Then the community is out of discussion board yet again.
that's ridiculous. IP ban! if he banned me forever and then i registered again the next week as dangerboy1, and started posting with the same style and attitude i had when i was banned, well....2 + 2 = 4 everytime. it would be easy for him to delete me again and would be well within his rights to do so. why does clif get a pass?
IMHO- Rules are rules are rules. If he was banned, he shouldn't be back, but.... I agree with colinmama in the respect that it's being taken too far with some of the comments on this post. And I'm not new. But opinions are like butt's, everyone has one, and they all stink!

I agree but the thing is we don't know that clif was banned. He may have deleted his account and just started another one before he was actually punished like the rest ? It being the same day the others came back that maybe why he started a new name that day. I dunno just guessing but he should be gone just for his other things he has started .The two bit....... he should have been banned for that imo.
it's not about opinion. it's supposed to be about the rules, and the decisions made by the webmaster. it appears that he has decide to allow clif to ignore his ban, and ignore webbie's decision completely....
