I've just been reading, but here's my .02. (not that it matters) If you are banned, you should stay banned. I'm not understanding the whole coming back on here just like nothing happened thing. And yes, the tone of this thread went downhill quick, and some of that was uncalled for. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm not saying Ken is wholly right either. The whole thing is just a mess. But you know what? It's just a message board, and the sun will still come up tomorrow. 8)
I just want to remember why Stinger got permanently banned? Did he go around arguing with folks like Clif, yes...did he drop the "F" bomb 20 times...NO? What's the difference? Also, everyone that's been on here for any amount of time has flamed someone at some point and time. Why is it different for Ken? I mean Clif has followed different folks around over the years and badgered them...what's the difference? Anyway-what did Ken do to get banned?
we've all retained focus again....we all know it went south...lets move on to the part where it's total crap....and unfair, and he is here, and posting in the gas thread ....
Thats what I wanna know too why? He did his time out and came back and I didn't see where he did anything breaking the rules.
Here's my guess: Clif went whining to Webbie again about Ken bringing up perpetual motion again. It was in the T. Bone Pickens thread, and it's gone now. Another thing that was in that thread yesterday and is gone today, is Clif's reply to somebody (maybe BobF?) about him knowing a lot for a new guy, and he said something like, who says I'm a new guy?
Well, I would be embarrassed to not stand by what essentially is "my word" if I lifted a permanent ban or out right ignored the fact that a person created a new screen name. IMO is doesn't make webbie look credible as a man of his word, which in this case is the rules he created for these forums. :?
