I think it would be a great gift for your daughter on her birthday. The thing is awesome and if they are in another room they can listen to music without earphones. If you order one from PB Teen you can get them in all types of designs and have it monogrammed. Since I waited so long PB Teen was sold out but our 4042 family came through with Toys R Us. The one from Toys R Us was cheaper and now my teen can decorate it to her liking.
