And I ask in return...have you NO knowledge of history. WWII France and present day Iraq are two completely different scenarios. France was invaded and over-run by a huge military power bent on world domination. How does this compare to Iraq? There are planty of other dictatorships around. Why aren't we toppling their governments all over the world?
Wasn't the Revolutionary War funded by the French as a political move to weaken their own rivals, the British, so that we would be allied with them against the British? Too bad it backfired on them.
