Question for you all. In about two weeks I go for my 6 month check up with my eye doctor to see how my cataracts are going. I know I need to eventually have surgery on them. I am going to ask the following questions. 1) reference for a doctor to do it that will take my BCBS. 2) should i get my lazy left eye done first or my stronger right eye. What I would like from you folks are questions I need to ask my eye doctor . TIA
BCBS will have a listing of the doctors in their network that perform such operations. Your plan may have some penalty for those doctors outside of your network, but that too should be provided by the folks at BCCS either on line or via a phone call.
