i have read through the success stories of saving money and i'd love to save money like you all have. i think it's great! now with the triples is that only at certain stores? i'm guessing FL doesn't do triples huh?
No, FL doesn't even double! I only go in there if they have something on a spectacular sale. Lowes and Harris Teeter do triples but it is a rare treat that we have all enjoyed this past weekend. Lowes did triples in Feb, they both did it this past weekend, highly unusual. But they double every day, Lowes up to 60 cents and Kroger up to 50 cents.

You and a couple other people inquired about the coupon train well after it was sent out, so I'm sorry that you weren't at the top of the list, it was nothing I could control. I had no problem adding more people do it, the more the merrier! I put everyone in the order in which I received pm's expressing interest because I thought that was fair. There were 6 people ahead of you, so between each person keeping the train for a day or two,(or more), and the mail system, it takes some time! I'm not trying to be mean, but that's how it is. If you don't like it, cash in your train ticket! LOL

I understand where you're coming from T4T, which is one of the reasons I decided not to do the train. I lose interest pretty easily, lol, I get bored. Guess it's the gemini in me. That's why I like swaps better, you know, instant gratification. Or having a few people over to the house right before triples (grin) to dive into 3 months worth of coupons! I hate that I didn't get to make more trips during triples. I did 3 to HT and one to Lowe's. I just couldn't seem to find the time. Plus I was exhausted, lol. Oh well, I'm sure the triples will be back! And when they get here, I'll be ready! (cuz I'm the coupon ho)
I agree Jen, the coupon swaps are best for that instant gratification! LOL BUT for those of us hermits here it's easier to pop em in the mail. LOL

I think it's just a nice surprise to get in the mail... I'm not gonna stress about it, when it comes it comes and it's a nice gesture for us all to contribute to.

Update on the Coupon Train: There are now so many coupons that there will be TWO trains making the rounds! They will both be headed out tomorrow! One to you SB and one to you Tit! Sorry for the delay, I knew I was getting more coupons from a friend so I wanted to be able to add the ones from that bunch. Toot toot chugga chugga! LOL
