    update:

well, i got that wrong. steve mahr the overnight czar chopped up some audio to air this morning. i asked him if he heard anyone mention daniel and if it got in, but it didn't ring any bells with him....

definitely try the holler line for next week. i'll mention to the Qcrew to be on the lookout for it. no guarantees, but it can't hurt to try

steve said he didn''t hear it. i don't know if tracy called yesterday or not, but he didn't remember it being on there. i spoke with wheless a little while ago, and he said he would look out for it for next week...

....although, i hope we don't still need it to be on there by next friday

    helping Tracy and Daniel

Thank you to these few who are sticking to the REAL reason why we are here. I came back from being out of town on conference and have been horrified to see what happened to the thread we started a couple of weeks ago. We thank you...those of you who are TRULY helping Tracy and our family! It's nice to know that she has a bit more to depend on for ideas than just her sister!

No problem. I apologize for what happened on the other Threads. We 4042ers are a great group. We argue, we fight, we hug and we help. While most of us are way opinionated we try to help those in need. So, please do not get the impression that this other thing is normal for the regulars.

We will continue to help in any way and I do think that I can speak for some on this board. No matter what, I would help others on this board who have different opinions and ideas than I. Just the way we geeks are.

Please keep us updated and I do think any names of individuals or businesses should be done with private messaging. Do remember that this can be viewed by anyone worldwide and the focus should stay on a mother finding her son or at the very least, hearing from her son.

Keep the faith and once again, Kudos to Webbie!

    Sherry

I disagree Sherry, what is wrong with naming businesses? Not everybody is privy to a PM since they are.... private.

Perhaps a spinoff is in order? I am seeing a correlation here.

My suggestion was due to another Thread. I'm just making suggestions. Certainly, posters can do whatever is within the bounds of the forum but after two hours of reading another Thread I thought maybe this one could be a little different. Did not mean at all that businesses helping to put out flyers or whatever should not be mentioned, mine was in direct connection to another Thread.

    Good Luck,
    Sherry

Wouldn't this be an "ID 10 T Error"?

    SS,
As a matter of fact, it would not be that type of error. On one of these boards, concerning Daniel's status, I was contacted by a business owner who relayed some info to me, which I posted. My post, without my knowing it, was edited. And only the Webmaster has that capability. My guess is that after the comments made to me were posted, the person posting them felt some heat or discomfort and had them removed.

In this case, mentioning a business name might actually cause the message to be edited or removed. In my mind, the return or direct communication between this missing teen and his family, is of such import that, if all it takes to remove an important message is a complaint, then we can avoid having them removed by not naming the business.

Family is important to me, and to most of us. With the gratitude that I maintain for your sharing your news to me via PM, I would hope that you could extend some of the same type of understanding about the importance that Sherry, many others, and I place upon family, and cut her some slack. You're bigger than this, dude.

Possibly. Either that or a whopping "String T UP-ID error".

My apology if my Post earlier sounded like I was the "Board Police". I meant it as a suggestion. Anyhow, we are all working on the same goal, which is good.
