Finally, I knew I wasn't the only one with a dog in this fight. They do speed and do other moving violations when they have nowhere to go. Next time you get a speeding ticket think about it and realize how many people are in the courthouse for the same thing. I have discussed this same subject numerous times to people all over and I have heard the same thing. I used to be in the USMC and police officers would pull you over just because you had a USMC sticker on the back because they thought they could get something on you and you were not doing anything wrong. I have seen them search vehicles and say commands to their dog to get them excited and then claim the dog was excited because you have illegal substances in your car. I don't do drugs, don't sell drugs, or drink so I have never been taken downtown for that, but what am saying is they abuse the special privilege. I've been stopped before and told that I didn't use a turn signal when I know I did use one and I put two and two together and realized they were just stopping me just because they need to meet some type of quota. Ok that is all I am going to say.

:lol: I travel all over the place and see cops just hauling *** down the road, no lights, no siren, nothing ... why are they speeding when I can't? Sometimes I'd like to just punch it and get down the freeway. Just yesterday a Fuquay cop was flying down the 55 bypass. The speed limit is 55, my cruise was set at 60 he passed me like I was sitting still. :? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate every officer putting their life on the line to protect me and my family but come on, flying down the road - no lights, no siren?
I may or may not have been known to hop behind a trooper on 40 and follow him to my exit. I alwasy wondered if I could get pulled by speeding behind a trooper, or would they call another trooper to sneak up behind me and pull me? That would suck.
WOW.... I dont even know where to begin. Again unless you are in the car with the officer you have NO idea whats going on or where they are going too. I bet you are the type of person to complain to an officer when it takes to long to respond to you aren't you? I dont know where you were that officers would pull you over because of your sticker or make their dogs bark and claim drugs. I think you've been watching too many movies. and there's no quota system. Thats against the law to have any kind of system like that. Seriously you need to call your local department and do a ride-a-long with an officer for one evening. Instead of thinkin they are preying on people you might get a glimpse of what they do for a living which is put their life on the line to protect total strangers.
