Well, At the one in Clayton,(Glory Days)(think name changed again) they say they will tattoo anything anywhere! Never heard of the cuff or collar thing. When I got my foot tattoo, they told me anywhere I wanted one, they'd put it.

I suggest them. Never been to Monkey Ink but I have 4 tatts from Glory Days!
    They have AWESOME Artist!

Yup. And there are other states that will take your money. Maybe check out a local board in VA or SC. More than one way to skin a cat. Or you could skin a cat, and then go to prison like Ken suggested.

That makes more sense, but you never know these days. I've seen pics of hand tatts on various sites for the shops around here.

I've been thinking of getting one for over 10 years but couldn't decide what I wanted....I finally decide and may have trouble....figures.

    North Carolina Tattoo Laws
§ 14-400. Tattooing; body piercing prohibited
    (a) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to tattoo the arm, limb, or any part of the body of any other person under 18 years of age. Anyone violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor.

    (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to pierce any part of the body other than ears of another person under the age of 18 for the purpose of allowing the insertion of earrings, jewelry, or similar objects into the body, unless the prior consent of a custodial parent or guardian is obtained. Anyone violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor.

    That's all I found!

If that's it, I'm way past the age of consent!

I'm not talking physicalities. I'm talking emotional wellbeing at this point, one could argue that the physical rejection <*GASP* OMG, they must be a babykiller!!> could lead to emotional problems (rejection, discrimination?). Eh, I'm just talking. :)

I bet you could DIY! Get some thread, a needle, and some India ink.

Cue Sherry in 5,4,3,2... to ask me to remove home tatoo instructions.

To hold the ink. It acts as a sponge. If you want to make a gun, use the motor from a tape player. Woops. I said too much.

For something like a small vine or something on your thumb/ finger, they charge a house minimum....usually $30-$40 depending on the size and different colors of ink used.

This is at a tattoo shop, not a prison tatt, I think you can get those for free. And you get the free hepatitis too!

Been a long week? I was joking about using the thread to fix what I screwed up.....I had no idea what it was for either. I wouldn't attempt to do it myself...that would be a disaster waiting to happen.

Yeah, as fun as that sounds I think I'll pass on the Hepatitis.....I was figuring about $40....now, I have a stupid question. Don't laugh. I go in and say what I want. Do they draw it out and let me see it or do I need to take a drawing with me....Yes, I know it's silly, but I'm a tatt shop newbie....
