windows 7 build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine

I started getting this message this morning since my system rebooted after an update. Been running windows 7 now for over 9 months with no issues.

Any thoughts and solutions? I did a restore to 04/06/2018 with no resolve

 

Is there an earlier restore point you can try?

 

There are two other older restore points back in March

 

I would try one of them to see if the issue was since then.

 

I ended up taking it back to the place that rebuilt my PC last September and they were able to get it re registered. Something about the OOB. Something I did find out that not all updates from Microsoft get listed in the update program.

 

Of course not. Why would they do that.
